Tamworth DHS developed by Rice Group

Description:

This 1800m2 office development is situated In Peel Street, Tamworth. Team Design Australia are the Architects for this project with the assistance from Rice Construction Group Pty Ltd engaged as the Project Manager.

 

Due to constraints of the site there had to be a tunnel built to services the main sewerage system for the CBD, the tunnel runs ¾ of the way under the building. The completion date is due at the end of May 2013.

Description:

This Narrabri office is set to commence by the end of February 2013.

 

The 600m2 building has been designed around a one in one hundred year flood and due to this, the site was  built up approximately 1500mm. This modern design has been awarded a 5 star green rating to satisfy the clients brief.

This building stands on the old Woolworths building in Armidale, which is now the home to Dan Murphy’s and Dick Smith.

 

With new polished floors, refrigeration units, checkouts and staff facilities, this project was completed under very tight completion dates.

New England Division of Health,

New England Division of Health, developed by Rice Group

 

Description:

The newly completed New England Division of Health building in Rusden Street, Armidale has been purpose built to suit our client's needs.

 

Taking just over 5 months to complete, this project, with its unique entrance built from Blue Gum timber specially sourced for this project, has received a commendation award at the BDA Award ceremony (Building Designers Australia).

Central Plaza & IGA,
Inverell NSW

Hong Huens IGA Plaza, Inverell, developed by Rice Group

 

Description:

The Central Plaza and IGA in Inverell was a two-stage project.

 

The first stage involved the refurbishment and redevelopment of the current IGA Shopping Centre. The second stage involved the refurbishment of the current arcade and several specialty stores.

 

The end result was an incredible heritage reproduction to resemble some of the features of the original building.

Coles Shopping Centre,

Description:

Coles Armidale is one of the largest projects we have been involved in to date.

 

With one of the biggest concrete pours Armidale had seen at that time, this building was a monumental step for the Rice Group as it forged our reputation for having the ability to service not only the residential market but also the large, commercial industry.
