In the heart of Armidale, this project demonstrates how an existing building can be successfully repurposed to meet the demands of a modern fitness facility.
The project commenced with a complete internal strip-out, with all floor, wall and ceiling linings removed. The space was then rebuilt as a purpose-designed modern fitness facility, featuring new bathroom amenities with showers, a new sauna, custom joinery for member lockers and a welcoming reception area.
The finished space combines durability with a polished, contemporary feel. Polished concrete floors are paired with 300 square metres of rubber tile in the training zones, built to handle the heavy use a gym demands. Large floating mirrors and feature lighting complete the fit-out, delivering a bright, functional space for members to train in for years to come.
