Rice Construction Group Joining $7 Million Armidale Servies Project

Armidale Servies will be boosting economic confidence throughout Armidale with the construction of their new motel which will include 28 standard rooms, one family room for four and two suite rooms for special events.

Rice Construction Group are proud to be involved with the project that will provide approximately 15 jobs for local residents once it becomes operational. The motel will be built between the Armidale Servies Club and the Belgrave Twin Cinema.

Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall was amongst Scott Sullivan (Servies Club CEO), Mark Bullen (Vice President) and Rice Construction’s Sam Rice and Nick Rice at the opening celebration of the development on the 14th January 2021. “For the first time in 15 years Armidale is going to have a new motel that will deliver new jobs and new visitor opportunities to the city,” Mr Marshall said.

This new accommodation is a fantastic step forward for Armidale, where increasing numbers of tourists and visiting workers demand overnight accommodation, especially with the first stage of the Armidale Regional Airport Business Park complete and the newly planned location for the NSW Department of Regional NSW in development.
